Review summary

It was a really great cruise. I had a great time. MarQ our CD was outstanding along with his Fun Squad.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
My embarkation was exceptional. From the front door of the port terminal to entering the ship was a total of 15 minutes. I used FTTF.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I only ate in the MDR and every meal was great, fresh and hot.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
I enjoyed the walking track every morning at 5 and had the awesome experience of being on the 12th deck as the sun rose and we pulled into our ports.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
DJ Spike is an awesome DJ. He played music that kept the cruisers fully entertained and dancing. I enjoyed the 80s show very much.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
My room steward was named Su and she was absolutely terrific. She did an excellent job with my room and the wait staff were very attentive.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
My room was surprising spacious and perfect for me as a solo cruiser.

Ports of call

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

4 out of 5
My excursion was a room and country tour and it was booked through Carnival and it was my favorite tour.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

3 out of 5
It was nothing spectacular. My least favorite port.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

4 out of 5
I did a self-guided walking tour of San Juan and it was 4 hours of awe inspiring walking, talking with the locals and picture taking and memories making.

Grand Turk Island

3 out of 5
It was nothing of great interest to see on this tour. I did the Rainbow Tram. It was extremely hot but not uncomfortable. The country is still recovering from 2 major hurricanes from 2 years ago.

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
It was disorganized with FTTF. I receive a notification the day before disembarkation to meet in the main theater at 8:15 and none of the personnel could tell me what what time to disembark. I then decided to join a line that was disembarking and that worked for me. It was NOT a FTTF line. I was disappointed with this aspect of FTTF.
