Review summary

Everything you need is included in the price! You don't need to rent vehicles to travel to different places, your room travels with you as well as any restaurant you could ever want! The diversity of the food is amazing and would be tough to even get close to getting sick of. I would highly recommend cruises, namely THIS CRUISE, for any weeklong vacation. As a side note, the lack of Cell reception forced us to relax and forget about work and everything we left back home.

Embarkation

The music as we walked aboard felt like we were entering something magical before we even left.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
There are no wrong choices for the food aboard the magic. Everything is so fresh and delicious, it was hard to go back home and have to deal with those boring and preserved foods...

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The art gallery was an enjoyable experience.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Every show was on par with a broadway play. Very well put together and VERY entertaining.

Children's Programs

I don't have kids.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was very personable and was willing to go above and beyond their job for us.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Being an inspector back home, I noticed how well maintained the ship was. Every chance they got at every port, everyone pitched in to get ready for the next day at sea, just like clockwork.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
At 6'4", I found the room to be a very nice size, the bed was as large as mine at home and the ceilings were well above my head. Our steward kept the room in tip top shape .

Ports of call

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

We went to Ocean World for the Dolphin Encounter and it was an amazing experience.

Glad you had a great time! We always do as well. We never spend extra for food. Have never been in a specialty restaurant. We feel whats the point if those restaurants are the same back home. Just a little more expensive. Don’t need to spend a lot to have a great time.

Welcome to your new Addiction! My thinking years ago was I never wanted to go on a cruise, because I didn't want to be stuck on a ship! After going on our first one 17 years ago we have now been on 17 cruises. BEST VACATIONS EVER!
