Review summary

The onboard musicians were absolutely terrible. It was insulting to me that Carnival would offer the musical product that they did. There was a county music musician and a jazz guitarist that were both really good, but outside of that amateur doesn't even begin to describe. Not one single song was free of flat notes and bad musicianship. I am only speaking of the musicans/music that play in different spots around the ship - the stage production was just fine. They really need to put more thought, effort, and money into the music that you're listening to while you're onboard. In addition the Grand Turks destination was not worth the time spent. Almost nothing to do exceptshop at the dock, go to the pool at the port or rent a car (in a foreign country). The beach was overly crowded and the water was not all clean. Having said all of that, the crew worked very hard and we had a great time.

We’ve cruised the Magic twice. Granted it was our first two cruises a few years ago, but we LOVED the music. One guy was singing Journey songs and everyone around was singing along. It was so much fun! After the Magic, we cruised the Valor and the music wasn’t nearly as good. In fact, it was boring lol. Next is the Vista so we’ll see!

Whether you are at Carnegie Hall or not I would expect professional musicians at any decent venues. Personally, I would be bitterly disappointed if musicians or any professional person wasn't up the job!

While I respect your opinion and appreciate the information, I must point out that you weren't at Carnegie Hall. Also, for future reference Grand Turk is a singular place that is part of the Turks and Caicos. I hate to hear the music is truly terrible but I don't know if I even paid much attention on my last cruise.
