In review, I absolutely enjoyed this cruise, and I thought that the money we spent for a 7 day cruise was well worth it for all they provide! Absolutely will do it again!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Embarkation was easy, really pass people through quickly. We accidentally got there late as part of a wedding party and all of the people outside told us exactly where to go and were on the boat in just a few minutes. Everybody was great!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Lovethat24 hour wood fired pizza!!!! And Guy’s Burgers were awesome
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Onboard activities were pretty cool. The shows were fun and actually funny. The only thing was that many activities are really only fun with alcohol. We don’t usually drink, so we drank more than we usually do, which led to a little less activity during port times due to hangover. That is not anything to do with Carnival however considering it is a party type boat. The spa and fitness center was really great too, and there’s a bar up there that after massages and stuff had a great balcony with chill spots everywhere and a great view from the top of the boat.

Service and Staff
4 out of 5
The evening dinners were great with exceptional service. Sometimes it seemed that the dinners were very long, like 2 hours or more, but we had a big party and enjoyed family time and the waiters dance on pedestals and stuff. Very fun!
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Bed wasn’t the most comfortable, considering I ended up spending more time in the cabin than I was expecting. But I do realize the capacity they must provide for and the fact that there is an assumption that you would spend more time doing activities and less time sleeping
Cabin / Stateroom

Ship tip
GET A BALCONY STATEROOM!!!! My wife and I thought we could manage our week with alarms, but it was very easy to oversleep and veg out for long periods when there’s no natural light coming into the room. But, it was $200 cheaper than the balcony in the deal we got
Did Catamaran excursion, the not all-inclusive. Included snorkeling at a beautiful reef, lunch, drinks, and sailing. Amazing time in D.R. and the people we met that are from D.R. were so much fun
We slept that day until 4:30pm (ship time) and didn’t end up getting out even though we were supposed to go snorkeling there. But oh my god, it is shocking how beautiful the water is around Grand Turk and the salt flats in the middle and the island being so small that at the top of the boat you can see the ocean around the entire island. Saw a plane landing, and a few people on horses going down the road. Was a very cool port to see even if you were stuck on the boat! The other ports were cool with the mountains and ports and all that, but none looked anywhere near as cool as Grand Turk. And it’s likely the first place that Christopher Columbus ran into!
