Review summary

Over all, it was an excellent vacation. Just a bit disappointing that we couldn't visit st Thomas and the compensation did not equal the loss.

This is the one port I was excited about going to and it was cancelled. Now after the fact, I know that there is an issue between this port and carnival. The compensation given was not enough, in my opinion. it was $65 for missing a major port attraction and having an extra sea day.

We all know that sometimes they have to make changes in ports. Glad you did enjoy the cruise.

Read your contract people, ports are a bonus. Carnival doesnt have to give any compensation, what they gave was great

I can understand that while someone sympathizes with a medical emergency, it impacted their hard-earned vacation. In this case the medical situation was not the only reason for the missed port. There was/is also a propulsion problem causing them not to be able to go fast enough to make all of the scheduled ports. For that there should be some compensation IMO.

Don’t understand when people complain about what they get when someone has a medical emergency. Just be thankful the person isn’t YOU.
