I don't quite get your review since you're booked for Conquest in February 2019. Carnival Cruises are considered Fun Ships so if you're looking for something more mellow (you made a comment regarding rap music) then don't take another Carnival Cruise.If you eat in the MDR for dinner then yes it takes time. First you get your starter or appetizer then once completed you receive your entree so I always give at least an hour to an hour and a half for dinner. Also you commented on the onboard which are listed on the Daily Fun Times that you receive each night in your room. You can also access it through the Carnival Hub App on your smart phone. Been on quite a few cruises with different cruise lines and never bored. Maybe Princess or Holland America will be better suited for you.

Yet you have a cruise booked for 2019 ???? I have been very lucky as I have never had a bad cruise !! I always have met many fun and happy people . I hope your next trip will be a joyful one.

If you were in the main dining room than of course it took time. It is like being in any fine dining restaurant. You get each course in due time. The dining experience is not meant to be fast like a Denny's or other regular restaurants. It is meant to be enjoyed and converse with your table mates.
