Review summary

Although our original itinerary was changed due to the hurricanes and the weather was to rough to dock at the turks we still had a fabulous cruise. We will be going on this same cruise in May for blackjack tournament so hopefully we'll see what we missed.

Main dining room food was good, guys burgers and barbecue were outstanding, the buffets are adequate, the line for Mongolian wok was insane, over an hour waiting in line.

Prime Steakhouse

Best meal of the cruise, the wait staff is very attentive and do their jobs very well.

Onboard Activities

Had a blast on the ropes course, my sister won bingo, I won the blackjack tournament and always a highlight for onboard entertainment is the adult scavenger hunt.

Ships stage shows were great, the musicians were everywhere and did a good job. The ships cruise director Dr E was outstanding.

Alexander our waiter was spectacular and always there for us. Our cabin steward was excellent and always had ice ready and room in tip top shape. Of course there's Dr E by far the best cruise director of all my cruises.

Ship Quality

The entire ship was always clean and well maintained. The layout is the same as several other carnival ships, after first day you get the hang of things.

Cabin / Stateroom

The bed is comfortable and slept well. Plenty of room in cabin for 2 people but not much room with 4 people. The balcony was good size and had 2 chairs.

Ship tip

Your vacation is what you make of it. If you act like the money you spent for the cruise is any different than other people's money you should probably not go on a cruise. Be kind to the staff and the other guest make the best of what you're doing and you'll have a great vacation.

Good for you. Glad you didn't let any inconveniences ruin your cruise. That's the spirit. Very glad you're giving carnival another chance in May. Better luck in May and happy sailing.
