Review summary

Over all a good cruise. Some of our expectations were exceeded, but some were not...I would have liked to see more activities like the bingo that didn't cost a fortune as well....

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Being our first cruise we were nervous about this process, but your staff made it much easier than we thought it would be.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food and choices was extraordinary. The staff was great. We especially enjoyed our head waiter in the Southern Dining room, Gus. He was funny and very concerned that we had a great dining experience. Coffee was horrible.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
The pools were too small/few for a ship this size. I was so looking forward to lounging by and in the pool, but for the most part there were just too many people wanting to do the same thing. There should be more activities for people who are not into the climbing walls, etc.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The stage shows in the main theater were great, but the smaller group/individual groups were really not up to par.

Children's Programs

We didn't have any children with us.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
We only met our room steward once, but our room was always clean. The waiters and other staff were always friendly and eager to help in anyway.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The design seems ok...like I mentioned, more pools needed. Ship was clean and well-maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The cabin was clean and big enough. The ac was very inadequate...especially the last night.

Ship tip

Be prepared to walk a lot....lol....we were so ready to gain weight from all the good food, but actually lost weight with all the walking. Also, if cigarette smoke bothers you, don't go....it's very hard to get away from it...especially anywhere on the casino floor....

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida Did not visit port

Too busy embarking and disembarking ship.

Nassau, Bahamas Did not visit port

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
It took us 3 hours to be allowed to disembark. The baggage area was organized and customs was friendly. But then we got outside and asked 3 different people with uniforms where to meet our shuttle and were sent to three different places....when we finally got to our area, we waited for over an hour for our shuttle....so that was not a good experience. It was expecially bothersome since we faced an eight hour drive after disembarkation...

It was 40.00 for us on Splendor and it was only 4 games

what is the cost to play bingo?

Yes, when did BINGO get so expensive? I have not played in decades, but the prizes have certainly increased in value along with the entry cost.

What do you recommend taking on board with us to make our cruise more comfortable?
