Food and Dining

With our Carnival Magic itinerary cut from 7 days in western carribean to 3 days Bahamas ( which we were very upset about)and alot of uncertainty if we could get to port by sailing for 9/9/2017 (John Heald was so helpful on fb for commumication needs) this was The Best Cruise Ever! We traveled from NC TO PC in FL and the traffic was wretched, Georgia was closed due to no resources and we drove 13 hours On our anniversary to get to ship. Everyone on road was so nice to each other, we saw gas shortages everywhere. Port Canaveral was Unbelievably Easy , quick to get on ship and wonderful people work there! We stayed in 11234 and Aris was indeed a magical steward, room was the cleanest we have ever been in, he anticipated our needs and wants and so happy and respectful! Room service was phenomenal, room being conveniently located to lido and spa as well. Spa was so relaxing AND staff were wonderful and not pushy at all. Lido staff, housekeeping staff were amazing and food was delicious as well as bathrooms and the whole ship was so clean and organized! Guest services and excursion desk staff were so accomadating, sweet and happy to help! We had to combine with other ships for excursion , Mr. Johnson was terrific with guiding us and Geo and Bryant on the Ultimate sail and snorkel in Nassau was the Best Excursion we have taken since cruising with Carnival. Dining was wonderful and they had anytime, one dining room open and they were eager to please, sang to us and I really enjoyed all staff there along with the menu was terrific, hats off to kitchen crew and bartender in dining room and waitstaff. Shows were fantastic, dancing and meeting Dr. E and show staff was a delight and a highlight of this cruise! Mahailo was our private photographer..The best pics !!! We were treated like royalty...I believe ship holds almost 4000...I don't believe there were more than 1000 on board, staff and guests combined, due to hurricane Irma. We can not say enough great things about our experience except maybe we were a bit bored in Freeport as there was no one at beach but driver was great and took us for tour before going back to dock for 20.00 for 2 of us both ways. Agave restaurant was fantastic in Freeport! We did forget our DL at one port, naughty naughty, we have learned our lesson . Out of 288 people on our fb page, we met 3 of them who made it and that was such a fun and great group, small but mighty fun! Can't wait to sail in May on Magic when it should be full!!
