Review summary

Well, I will start with the ports, I loved Puerto Rico. I always like St.Thomas and Grand Turk. Amber Cove was ok. So the itinerary as far as the ports are concerned is good. You get to go to some beautiful places. What I did not like was Carnival Magic. The way Carnival has their food set up is ridiculous. Blue Iguana, the barbecue place and the lido buffet all close at 2:30. So when you get back on the ship after a day at the port the only thing to eat is guys burgers. Until 6 pm when dinner starts again. Oh or the sandwich shop or pizza. They need better hours for their restaurants. The service in the dining room is slow. The dancers they had for the night time performances were terrible and so was the selection of shows. The person who cleaned our room actually left food on the floor and food on the tables when he cleaned. We had food sitting in our room for over 24 hours that should have been taken away. The lines were always too long for food and their food,with the exception of guys burgers isn't good. I had a better experience on the Dream.

The room was super small for 4 people. Since they charge you more for a 4 person room they should be larger.

I've been in 6 carnival cruises and I totally agree with you here. The food is terrible other than the guys burgers, the breakfast burritos at blue iguana, and the pizza. Carnival is cutting back on the quality of food and entertainment tremendously.... we were not impressed with the shows. The lead singer (female) voice was ear piercing. This for sure was our worst cruise. I mean we obviously made the best of it. The lack of mainly those two things, which should be probably their main priority was just disappointing.

I agree food and the entertainment were issues with us as well and we aren't hard to please people. Our room was hot. Guy finally checked it and it was 78.5 degrees and our balcony stunk the whole time. Enjoyed the ports and enjoyed the outside spaces of the ship.

Food goes out in the hall for room service to retrieve. Room stewards have about 30 rooms to do and no where to put dirty dishes.

No we loved the Magic, actually can't wait to return. With food I always stack the dish outside the door, because they really don't like messing with your stuff.

i just got off the Magic on the 6th. I must be easy to please too because it was a normal Carnival Cruise. I don't care for the Americsn Table Menu, but changes happen. Bottom line seems to be the most important thing these days :)

Doesn`t sound to like there were any problems with the ship or sailing. To me it sounds like "a cruise". Maybe I'm just easy to please.
