Loved our cruise director, Rev. Dr. E was delightful! His personality was outstanding and his ability to be disarming and charming won us all over! Beginning with the usual dreaded safety presentation that he turned into entertainment to the last night party, which he rocked! Loved him! I want him as my cruise director every cruise!

The Magic is my favorite ship. Love the hot tubs on the sides of the ship. Dr. E went out of his way for us...my husband re proposed to me on stage and he played along and got us a snippet of the video.

P.S. The sunshine is OLD - built in 1996 (when my 21 year old son was born). The Magic was built in 2011 so I think you will find it looks much nicer as well.

Meandmycru3, I haven't been on the sunshine, but the reviews don't speak highly of it. I have cruised the Magic twice and both times we had a fantastic cruise! It got a little crowded at times, but what can ya do... I recommend getting to the shows a little early to get a good seat.

Me and a friend are goung on the Nagic June 3rd. Ive heard really good things about that ship. How is everything else on the ship? I just went on the Sunshine and our Cruise Director was amazing too and that's about all that was good about that ship. I wasnt impressed! I hope the Magic is better.
