Review summary

Carnival Magic Eastern Caribbean cruise overall was a wonderful experience especially at the port sites.  The Carnival Magic ship however was not the nicest/newest ship we have been on, it was a bit aged and showed from the rust displayed throughout the ship. The cleanliness of the rooms/bathrooms were not as I desired as our bed sheets were never changed out, our floors were barely vacuumed, and bathroom door was not whipped down the entire cruise. The food was mediocure and not the highlight for sure. The best restaurants were Guys Burger Joint and the Pizza palor that was open 24hrs. The seas were a bit rough due to storms circling the Caribbean during our vacation, other than a little rain here and there we could not complain.

The stateroom itself was nice. Could have had a better room steward though.

Ship tip

Don't bring any water bottles. If you need to bring sparkling water make sure it is in can form.

The ship is IN the SALTY OCEAN 24/7 so of course there's going to BE rust. do you change your sheets daily at home? Probably not

Your whole thing was complaining, what are you talking about? You have to take sheets off the bed if you want them changed, you know that right, it's posted in your room. if your room isn't cleaned enough, ask for a do over or do it yourself. It's not Carnival fault for the bad weather.
