Review summary

Carnival Magic was my first cruise ever.  Oscar our room attendant was amazing.  Cha Cha our dining room attendant was amazing.  Dr. E the cruise Director is the hardest working man I have ever seen.  I sadly was very disappointed in the attitude of most of the bar staff.  Very slow and rude.  In particular at the Red Frog on the lido deck.  Food was very average at best with the exception of Guys Burgers and the Salsa Bar.  Casino was awful.  Excursions were okay.  Not sure I would pay for the all inclusive beach excursions again.  May try a more active package to get monies worth.  Overall I probably wouldn't cruise anytime in the near future again.

Bar staff was rude and cold. Didn't feel they needed to work for a tip because we had the drink package so they were paid regardless.

Ship tip

Drink package not worth it. Bring power strip. Don't overpack. You are in bathing suit 90% of time.
