Review summary

We all experienced a norovirus epidemic. The last two days many areas of the ship were shut down for cleaning. On disembarkation day we were ordered off of the ship by 8:30. No breakfasts served, ship was cleared for decontamination before next cruise. The cuts across the fleet are adding up as well. They have stopped many of the little things that made the experience special. They don’t even have tablecloths in the main dining room and it feels like a cafeteria and has a very high noise level. The ship had activities but most were centered on selling you something. Wait staff are stretched very thin and are really overworked. I felt bad for them because they were given huge areas to cover so it was hard to get drinks because they were so busy. Tables sat dirty because there was nobody to clean them off. It was our worst carnival experience unfortunately.

We were on the ship April 1st 2017, it was a 7 day western Caribbean. I hate that it is such a bad review because we’ve had amazing cruises on the Dream, the Valor, and the Sunshine in the past. I will put those reviews up later this week.
