Review summary

This was my first time cursing with Carnival. It was an ok experience. I was very frustrated that the Family bathrooms didn't have changing table for my 22 month old son. The smoke from the 5th floor casino filled the main center on all floors for the first several days. The pools were small and very crowded due to our ship being sold out. We had initially choose late dining and then tried to change it to open dining and hit road blocks every time we inquired but there were plenty of open table at early dining. The instrumental entertainment was amazing but other entertainers were ok. Dr. E was the best part of the day and made the Muster drill enjoyable and unforgettable.

Only issue we had was when we tired to do early dining instead of late dining and there was a lot of confusion between guest services and restaurant staff.

Cabin Steward Patrick was absolutly amazing, friendly and always put a smile on our faces.

Ship tip

There are no changing tables for any child in a diaper. Must do it on a blanket or go back to your cabin. Family restrooms are not equipped.

This is why you always do research ahead of time. Deck plans are available online, and you can always call if you have questions.

Carnival's pools were always on the small size and they have 1 or 2 on average per a ship.

pools are not meant to be big on cruise ships.

Well you did go during Spring Break for some schools so the crowd is expected. As far as changing tables I've never seen one in the staterooms on any of the major cruise lines I've sailed just make sure if you cruise again to bring a changing pad.
