Review summary

If you're traveling with children then Carnivals the cruise line for you. Don't get me wrong I love kids but this was crazy.

they save dozens of seat, push elevator button but worst of all knock on doors and run the halls till 2 am.

*better floor

We have been on about 18 cruises, mostly with Carnival, and only had this happen if we stay interior on low floors. If we book higher up near the grand suites it's better IMO. Spending a little more for a better is highly recommended. We are taking our 4 year old twins on a cruise in May and I double dog dare them to act the fool on this ship. They're pretty well behaved most of the time, but meltdowns happen and that's when you drop them off at camp Ocean. 😜

Don't blame this on the kids, it's definitely the parents. If this bothers you so much, go on a more expensive cruiseline

I've been on several Carnival cruises at Spring Break with my kids and never had an issue with kids running the halls or messing with the elevators. Although we do our best to use the stairs and not the elevators.

Carnival needs to police these situations better than what they do. No one, after having saved their money and sacrifice for their vacation, should have to endure. I fault the parents and Carnival!

I would think that Disney Cruise ships would have a lot of problems with kids

IkeDeb    7 years ago

Going on our fifth cruise in eight days and never had problems with kids. Even went during spring break and no problem with big kids. Actually the drunk ones were fun to watch.

It depends the time of year. We went last Mid January and there were literally almost no kids on the boat. Couldn't believe it!

ok so why should we have to expect this!!! I have 3 Amazingly well behaved children (now adults). I don't care if you are on vacation watch your kids!!!

I have cruised several times of the year and have 3 scheduled for May, July and Sept of this year all on Carnival because I have never had this to happen. I have taken grand children with me and can only hope they haven't done this. Just in case they did I really do apologize.

Cruise every spring break and have had both the elevator trick as well as knocking on doors on every trip. Would love to discuss with their patents. Our children don't don't do those things.

I've similar experience with kids in hotels when I travel for business during periods kids are out of school. Amazes me how inconsiderate grown adults with kids can be. This is entirely on the the parents who vacated their parental duties.

we go either between Thanksgiving and Christmas, or mid January. Less kids because parents don't want to take them out of school again that close to other breaks.

Well you did go during Winter Recess so between that Spring Break and peak summer that should have been expected. I cruised last May and not many children at all. I'm cruising again this May and bringing my children hoping there aren't many children so my children can enjoy the Waterworks without lines. Try cruising during off times Late April, May, September and October.

I'm with @Oceans100. It sounds like spring breakers. I took a cruise during spring break and the exact same stuff happen to me. I don't cruise during that time anymore, every cruise after that has been on point. I'm on cruise # 25.
