Embarkation is always hectic but it went smoothly. There was a woman with either the port or Carnival, not sure which, that talked me into checking my carry-ons. I didn't think about the wine rule so one of the bottles was removed. I'll never do that again! I think she meant well, and we had had a hectic trip getting to port so I wasn't thinking clearly. But I will NEVER do that again! Carnival brought our wine to us after I explained the situation. It was our anniversary wine - we were having our 13th anniversary on the cruise!

We were with a group that had private activities so we had a great time.

We went to the comedy club and ended up leaving. Not enough seating and standing is no fun when you've stood a lot already and done a lot of walking.

Our room steward was excellent. The brunch dining room staff service was not that great. Dinner service was pretty good. Love the shows they put on.

Don't remember the cabin number but it was okay for an inside cabin. Clean, accommodating. It was all we needed.
Ship tip
Beware when you get a massage that they push you into buying product that is overpriced and not worth the money.
