Review summary

My wife and I enjoyed our cruise, the ship was fantastic and the staff were great. It did though, feel very different to our previous cruises. There was a continuous feeling of what can only be described as cost cutting measures across the whole ship, From little things like the discontinuation of providing speciality teas in the dining areas to the feeling of reduced numbers of staff, as we had much longer wait times in getting served or entertained. We were always rushed during our dinner service in the any time dining restaurant. Down to the stopping of the big Las Vagas shows in the main theatre, which was a major disappointment for us.

The entertainment was very poor lest not for the guests themselves who played the major role in our entertainment presentations. The remaining staff were fantastic and very helpful, pleasant and kind. This won't put us off crushing and we liked this ship, but we will be checking out the next cruise much more carefully in making sure we will receive all of the things important too us, even if that means switching shipping company's.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The Indian grill at the back of the ship, was fantastic, could not understand why it was only open at lunch times. It served the best food on board.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

Without the guests on board, the entertainment other than the comedy shows were pathetic, we only had the resident dancing troupe for the first evening show, the blank for the rest of the week.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Seemed a lot less than previous cruises. The entertainment director was a lovely man but we were completely unable to understand any of his broadcasts, god help us if we needed to abandon ship.
