Review summary

Loved the islands, however would have loved more time in port.  Did not like the dinner menu, needs better options. Need more supervision system by security of teenagers.  They are left to roam until 3-5 am.  Loved Guys burger bar. The staff was terrific.  For the the first time we did not like our waiter, not friendly, however his assistant was great, so you know who got the greater tip. Overall it was a good trip

@jtrbug0226 Why should no one be roaming around at 2AM? Why does that type of control on someone's vacation make sense?

@Pamdee if after that one incident you are ready to draw an "absolute" then let's take it a step further and ban all alcoholic beverages, because drunk adults getting into scuffles (regardless how minor) is a common situation.

If your children are roaming the boat, how do you know what they're doing?!?! I don't care how well behaved they are they don't behave 365/24/7, especially NOT around their parents. NO one should be roaming around at 2 am.

We actually finished our trip Saturday. My husband and I along with a few other passengers ... all adults ... had to actually break up a fist fight that was about to happen with a group of teens. We got off the 5th floor elevator and there they stood right there cussing and daring each other to throw the first punch. They went after each other in which we all stepped in to break it up. These were young teen guys. Then a teen girl on the elevator was crying and bleeding cause another teen hit her in the ear. Yes, there is a problem. I am not saying all teens are bad, I raised two myself and they would have known better than to act in such away but not all teens are on that page. I think the original poster probably saw a few things hence the comment. Maybe a few changes would help such issues.

I've always experienced nothing but good from my teenagers.. we are cruisen April 2017 spring break on magic..

I just took a cruise with my two teenagers on the miracle and they came back to their cabin about 1 am right after the activities were finished. Going on another cruise next month and will have the same expectations. It's their vacation too.

@supreme...i agree! Most of them behave beautifully... Mine included. I haven't ever had any issues with kids being real bad... Just one minor issue of knocking at doors... We went back to sleep lol. I say if kids are being good then let them reasonably roam... Which is what I said when the other poster decided to get all defensive! Geez.... We are cruising people! Let's be happy about that!

....at is as long as their not being destructive or disruptive it's "all good in the hood". Maybe I've been fortunate and lucky, but I've never had issues with kids being either of those things. CRUISE ON ALL!

I've been on various cruises, and notice kids roaming at all hours of the night, never once had an issue. Most of them are very well behaved (sitting in the cafeteria eating pizza, playing cards, taking, etc etc). There are a few that are running around yes, but I don't know man, I try to not forget what it was like to be a kid with a bit of freedom for the first time. I guess what I am getting...

Curious, were your waiters Juan & Luise?

...but seriously, I'm not even roaming the halls at 3-5 a.m. What does a teenager do at that time of morning...besides trouble? I don't care how well mannered a child is or is not. They are still children.

Eagleeyepcs    8 years ago

We didn't say the kids couldn't roam the boat... Altho you can bet that this mom's teens aren't roaming at 3am!..the problem are the teens who cause havoc and the parents who let them! If they are respectful and well behaved then there isn't a problem!

As will I. Thank you for being a responsible parent.

wendynoling    8 years ago

Nope never experienced that on any cruises I've been on, proud mom of 3 and very well behaved... I will continue to cruise on ...

glad to hear I'm not the only one to tip servers...I also tip the waiter and/or their assistant. they work hard and most money comes from tips

Eagleeyepcs    8 years ago

Absolutely agree! I travel with a teenager and I gotta tell you... He isn't anywhere near the hallways at 3 to 5 am! And if he misbehaved or was rude in any way there would be consequences... With mama! Lol

The more supervision required is called parents.
