The whole experience was a nightmare. From not being able to check in until almost 4pm after arriving at 12. They had us waiting outside in the sun for an hour without any explanations as to what was happening. Once the staff got evacuated from the terminal we were told to go under the parking lot for shade. Then we were told to go to terminal five to be in air conditioning as some people were passing out. At terminal we were given numbers and told to sit and we were not allowed to use our phones at all. No explanation were given as to what was going on. We were a party of 12 and some had already boarded the ship. We had diving all the way from NJ which is an 18 drive and were tired and hungry. We were Goldwater would be handed out however, they did hours later. Once we boarded the ship at around 4 pm or so we went to eat however, the buffet would only be open for another 15 minutes and we did not have time to eat. Are dinner table for 12 was not reserved as we had asked for an were told it was not Carnival's fault but instead it was problem. We were also told we would receive an onboard credit of $75 and we never received it. Went to guest services and were told again that it was orbits fault and we would need to contact them to assist. Staff was very rude and unwilling to help. We looked forward to stopping at Honduras and were going to meet family at the port however, we did not stop there and instead stopped at Key West FL. No explanation as to why we would not make it on time. Our itinerary was completely shortened as well. Definitely the worst cruise experience I have ever been through. We were planning to book an Alaska cruise in 2017 however, after this experience we will look at other cruise lines. We have been on over 10 cruises and never experienced such horrible service. At the pool one day out of nowhere the staff started closing it while we were swimming and did not say why, we asked and were told someone had vomited as we were swimming. How about tell us all to evacuated imidiately as that is not only disgusting but also can be a health hazard. The pool was completely full of swimmers. We are very dissatisfied and dissapointed as we planned and looked forward to this family trip for over a year. It is very difficult to get us all together and unfurtunately it was not what we expected at all. Instead of making positive memories we are left with negative experience and memories. Not sure if we will ever use or Carnival after this experience.

Overall pretty basic stateroom. The artwork on the walls were crooked. A very minor detail however, you would expect things like this to be on point, especially with a well known cruise line.

Ship Tip

The ship is not bad as it has been updated. However, the experience and staff were not good.

We never went to Honduras. Extremely dissapointing as we were all looking forward to this port more than any other. Instead we taken to Key West.
