I'm sorry, TOTALLY off topic here.... Liberty had trouble, AGAIN??!! We were stranded on that ship last September. Engine room fire. Someone mentioned thrusters? I've no plans to board that bucket again.

Really was just stating or trying to state that may factors go into the decision. ..it may seem like a simple solution but is not. We may not like the captains decision but he/she has all the facts we dont.

And I agree they were lucky to get to Key West. Trouble on the Liberty earlier this summer cut out a port on several cruises because of thrusters. A change in itinerary can happen on any cruise, it's in our contracts. Course we all hope it doesn't happen. I enjoy the cruise ship itself so would be okay with it . I just love cruising.

Yes I've read some of the reviews they left. Some were very self centered, not thankful that medical attention was sought for . Very sad indeed, but this review was an honest one to me.

to @shelbym : our schedule was : day at sea Costa Maya Isla roatan Belize Cozumel day at sea roatan was not the second port. and I also heard rumour stay we could've went to Costa Maya in time but the cruise line would waste gas and it would be too much money. after all it's not like we were in Costa Maya at 9. we were there from 12-8 originally.

You are upset because this cruiser was sharing her vacation experiences (the goods ones and the unfortunate ones) then you are a miserable human who needs to log off. Clearly no ill intentions were meant in her quick recap.

Itineraries are scheduled years in advanced...captain can't change schedule easily. Again very surprised they were able to go to Key West. At least they still got three ports.

Because of the time it takes to go to Miami and then to Roatan. .would not make it on day available

people needa chill. no ones mad. but when you pay to go on a very expensive trip and the only place you wanna go it roatan, you won't be happy. the ship couldve very well easily skipped one of the Mexico ports (everyone has been to Cozumel basically) or the trashy Belize ( not impressed). I am very sad that the family had someone with a heart attack but why skip the port in the middle?

For me .No I would not be disappointed. I would be thankful the ship went back to Miami. You are right this person didn't complain like others but did feel the need to mention. My opinion. .sorry.

Hey guys, she gave 4 stars. She wasn't complaining that she didn't have a good cruise, she said her cruise was real enjoyable. Of course she was disappointed that they were not able to go to the original itinerary. But it didn't spoil her cruise.

Be grateful it was not your family member that had a heart attack and needed assistance. Actually lucky you got to go to Key West usually the ship would have skipped a third port. Very difficult to accommodate 4000 people at a moments notice.
