Review summary

We had a great time! It was a good cruise with great service. The food was nice, there was plenty of it! The entertainment was also good. The excursion we went to was not very well planned and we had to wait a long time to leave the ship. The wait was unnecessary.

Good variety, the food was very good.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The female singer was not the best, in fact the lady who sings in the Southern Lights restaurant is much better! She should be hired to sing with the band!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service at the dining room was excellent. We had a group of 3 people (George, Jana and Ebert) who treated us very well. Congrats to them for their good service!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was always very clean. Beautiful and comfortable.

Cabin / Stateroom

It was always very clean and organized. The service from the housekeeping staff was amazing! They took care of maintaining the cabin in pristine condition.

Ship tip

Go and have breakfast in the restaurant, not always in Lido buffet!

amrupj, typically it depends on dock or tender. Not all ports have docks for the cruise ships and tendering typically takes a long time. Imagine trying to get so many people from one ship to port via small 50 person boats. If 3,000 passengers go ashore, that would work out to 60 boats. Check to see which ports will be dock versus tender before planning an on shore excursion.

Whats the average time to get off the ship at any port? Do we wait longer if we dont book through carnival?
