Review summary

We are a family of six that chose this cruise because it is close to home.  We have sailed on other crusie lines but never as an entire family.  We were pleased with the value offered and the rooms we stayed in.  The ports were very nice and Carnival has invested significantly in thier infrastructure.  However, the quality of food was significantly worse than other cruises we have been on and the layout of the ship was not as open or as accomidating as others.  The staff is friendly and efficient but in general you dont get the same level of information and interaction with the ships officers and staff that you might with other cruise lines.

I enjoyed reading your review.  It seems that overall that you were pleased with your cruise.  You did have issues with the food and lack of interaction with the officers and staff.  At least the ship itself was clean and the ports were all nice. I hope that your next cruise is an even better experience.
