Review summary
I DID NOT LIKE THE CARNIVAL MAGIC. THE FOOD IN THE LIDO DECK WAS THE SAME MENU EACH DAY THERE WAS NOT MUCH SELECTION. THE SHOWTIME ENTERTAINMENT WAS LOUZY. THERE WAS ONLY ONE ACT THAT WAS DECENT AND IT WAS A MAGIC ACT POORLY PUT TOGETHER. THERE IS NOTHING TO DO ON THE SHIP EXCEPT DRINK AND GAMBLE. I WILL NOT SAIL WITH THIS SHIP AGAIN. CARNIVAL IS AT THE LOW END OF THE FOOD CHAIN. I HAVE SAILED ON THE CARNIVAL ECTASY AND THE CONQUEST AND HAD POOR CRUISES ON EACH. I ONLY WENT ON THE MAGIC CRUISE BECAUSE IT STOPPED AT KEY WEST FL. AND WE VISITED OUR GRANDCHILDREN WHOM LIVE THERE SEVERAQL PEOPLE ON THE MAGIC COMPLAINED ABOUT THE SHIP. WE HAD A SUITE AND IT WAS OKAY. WE HAVE CRUISED ON SEVERAL OTHER CRUISE LINES AND WENT MANY PLACES AND HAVE BEEN HAPPY ON ALL OF THEM. ALASKA IS THE BEST. WE HAVE BEEN 3 TIMES AND ARE GOING AGAIN THIS FALL.

Ship tip
For example: If you get up early, order room service to tide you over until the lido or mdr opens.
