Great boat, not so great staff

Sail Date: May 04, 2014

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

Boat was very nice and clean. We had a balcony room. It was very lovely. The food was fine- I did like all of the choices. I didn't think the staff was very friendly. This was our fourth cruise on Carnival and have always thought the staff was great, but not this time. They just didn't seem as friendly or seem to really care about our experience.

Ship Quality
Lovely ship
Food and Dining
Food was as to be expected
Service and Staff
Weren't nearly as friendly as the staff on other ships.
We didn't see any of the shows.
Children's Programs
We didn't use any of the children's programs.
Onboard Activities We didn't take part in any onboard activities.
Destinations and Excursions
Loved the ports and the carnival excursions.
Cabin / Stateroom
Gets a little noisy during the day, but other than that the location is great.
Galveston, Texas
Very easy to get in and out of.
Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Loved it here. This was probably our favorite port. The beach by the ship is awesome.
Belize City, Belize
Had to be on a small boat for a lot of time to go onto the mainland. It was very rough.
Cozumel, Mexico
Love Mexico!

We had a room on the 11th floor. It was the perfect location!!
