Review summary
Carnival Magic was a fabulous ship with the entire crew being so very friendly. Our Roatan, Honduras port visit was very beautiful. My wife and I zip lined for the very first time. She is 56 and I am 64 and it was most exhiliarating! When we anchored at Belize, we took Mayan Air over to San Pedro on Ambergris Caye, rented a golf cart and went straight to Palapa's Bar and Grill. We snorkeled while we were there and saw beautiful tropical fish, 2 dolphin, and a ray. While there we at Grouper that was delicious and had the best conch ceiveiche I've ever had. The Belzean people are extremely friendly and the food served was very fresh. We had been to Cozumel before so we took a taxi over to Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville and swam and snorkled to seeing beautifully colored tropical fish. The entire staff was extreemly hospitalable and very friendly. While in Cozumel we took Vince's, Carnival staff, recommendation and my wife got a Tanzanite ring and matching earlings for an unbelievable low price. I verified the cost when we returned to the states and it is truly a remarkable savings. She is very happy with her purchase. While onboard we booked another 7 day cruise for this coming Septemeber 2014 to go to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, & Cozumel along with another couple. Once again we are counting the days until we return to Carnival Magic.
