A must do Cruise

Sail Date: July 10, 2011

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Our cruise on the Carnival Magic was all very positive. The ship making its 11th voyage to the Western Mediterranean ports was just a pure joy and educational experience. From the accommodations, the port-of-calls, the food, service and cleanliness of the ship were all very satisfying.

Pros: The port of calls and the ship

Cons: Not being able to do more

Recommends Carnival Magic? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Entertainment
Monte Carlo, Monaco
Messina, Sicily
Naples, Italy
Guided tours from the ship were excellent, and should be considered when possible.
Don't Miss: The strewn garbage in the streets and general appearance of lack of cleanliness is a turn-off. The fear of being picked-pocketed is not pleasant and does not make you feel safe walking the town.
Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy
The Vatican, the Colosseum, museums
Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy
Pisa is a must, Florence is just full of history, art and a must stop for those interested in architecture and art in general.
