Our stateroom 1103 was amazing. Great location, quieter hallway with not too many rooms and around the corner from Spa so wonderful smell.  Great balcony with sliding glass door and 4 beds fit comfortable in this room.  However, the evening dinner were horrible!  Service was not great overall on this cruise with over  3000 other people.  The dinners were the worst part of the cruise the food was not very good and service was awful.  We bought the soda package for our teenage girls and they had to wait forever at a bar to receive their soda and would have to go back each time for refill instead of giving them the can.  Very bad service and long long lines most of time for drinks and food no matter what time of day it was.  Nassau was amazing port and great shopping but Freeport ok but shopping more expensive than Nassau.  We loved beach of Nassau too!

After visiting Nassau I'm amazed that it would even be offered as a destination for a cruise.  Not at all impressed and feel as though the money spent was partially wasted.  I'd. Ever go there again.

I purchased this trip for my mom's 84th birthday present to take her on the cruise and celebrate. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with my accommodations on the ship. I deliberately paid additional for the large balcony after because my mom has limited ability to get around.  Unfortunately the balcony looked like the windows had never been cleaned on the outside you couldn't see through the glass you had to stand up to look over the balcony which deletes the purpose of having the balcony. Our toilet quit working we had no water pressure could not take a shower or use the restroom the morning of coming into Nassau.  The floor we were on constantly smelt like fecal disposal as if the sewage was backed up.  I am scheduled for another cruise in September and honestly regretting the decision of going on Carnival based on my experience with the ship I certainly hope it is in better condition than the liberty!

I would not go again on a Carnival Cruise.  It was too crowded, we could not get a reservation in the nice restaurant because it was booked.  The thing I liked the most was the fitness center and the wait staff in the one restaurant we could get in.  

I thought the overall ship was nice, everyone went out of their way to help you

food was above average staff that we encountered were great

I had to saying going on a cruise was one of my best experiences!!! I'm already planning my second one!!! Everyone is so pleasant and always with a smile!!! I have to say you guys work very hard for the thousands of people that afe there!!! I have spoke about it with everyone!!! Thanks sooo much!! 

I was a bit nervous leading up to this cruise after reading several reviews about this ship. After spending 5 days aboard it was great. The lines for food were fairly short and we hardly had to wait, the last cruise we did was on a similar ship that had several of the same restaurants and we waited 15-30 minutes several times to each lunch, on the liberty this was not the case. The only downside was the Blue Iguana was only open until 2:30 PM.  We traveled with an 8 year old and a 12 year old and they never once got board and found that there was plenty to do on the ship. We would cruise on this ship again.

This was our first cruise. Wasn't sure would like cruising so we chose a short one. 

I'LL break it down. 

Ship- Beautiful. Pools, lounges etc. Were all really nice.

Service - Excellent! Staff was super nice, welcoming and did an awesome job. 

Stateroom- Very nice . Clean, roomy enough and the window was nice to have 

Food - Meh, I was wondering if this was going to be Golden Corral on a boat. Slight step above. 

Entertainment- Excellent. Great shows and comedians. The cruise director is a hoot! 

Offshore excursions - Didn't choose them. Looked overpriced and over crowded. We sought out our own Beach relaxing. Best excursion for us was to rent a car and drive to a stunning deserted beach. 

Upselling and overselling - No I don't want a watch, jewelry, booze, artwork etc. I can shop at home. 

Casino- Don't know. We never went in. 

Will we do another cruise? Probably not. It's not for us. Hanging out with 3000 people in a confined space is not our idea of a relaxing vacation. We'd rather a quiet cottage on an Island in Belize. 

This is a personal preference and not a criticism of Carnival. 

Carnival provides excellent service from day 1-4. Staff excellent,  willing to help. Nassau was ok, but Freeport a waste, still signs  of the last hurricane. Took a side trip to the beach which was ok. 

If your not a heavy drinker, don't buy the drink "Cheers" deal. Remember the house never looses. Pay as you go, in most cases you will come out ahead. 

Food was good at the main resturuant, but not as hot as I liked it. Plenty of places to eat and drink on the ship. Enjoyed all. 

Ship size was not overwhelming, always could find pool chairs. 

Overall rating 8 out of 10. 

Comedy club was very very funny.  the two shows the two shows were great the dancers were wonderful.  the room was  was comfortable was comfortable and queen bed was good bathroom was too small.  the pool the pool in the adult area was very cold not heated at all.

My wife & I enjoyed the staff & variety of Food on this cruise. The food by far is better than the MSC Ship. The only draw back is we booked a massage & it seemed like we were being pressured into buying their products. We would definitely recommend this cruise to others.

We had a really fantastic time on this trip! I've cruised a few times before and this was one of the better ones... Partly due to the weather... Partly due to the company... Partly due to the other passengers... This was definitely a perfect storm of possibilities that made a great vacation... The boat was great and the entire staff was exceedingly pleasant... 

My experience on Liberty was awesome. The ship was nice and clean, the beds were quite comfortable. Our Steward Frederick (Philippines) was very tentative to all our needs. He went above and beyond to make sure our comfort was a priority.

There was a very wide variety of good foods daily. Dinner each night was great.. Our servers Enez, Krisanas (Thailand), and Alexandru (Romania) provided service of excellence. Our excursion in the Bahamas was nice as well. Our tour guide (George) took us to some of the most interesting placing to see all over Nassau. I will definitely like to commend the entire crew for a job well done in every area. The ship captain was indeed a smooth sailor!! you could never tell when the ship was moving. The overall experience was great. I will be going again on the Carnival Liberty. Thanks to all.

The employees were very nice and helpful. Clean ship and food was good. Pool could have been warmer,, but ok. Were children allowed in the adult pool area? We had the same waiters every night, which we loved. Beautiful décor. Room that held bingo and comedy events was too small unable to find a seat even an hour prior to shows. There was confusion about being allowed to bring water on board. We read that we could have 12 waters each, however that was not allowed. Beds were extremely comfortable. pillows were fantastic. Cabin was perfect. Loved the daily towel sculptures. This was my first cruise. I enjoyed it totally. Thank you.

We were very surprised on how easy it was to find our way around the ship with this being our first cruise! Very well laid out and of course our stateroom was in a great place. Leaving this trip was hard, we will be planning a longer trip now due to our positive experience.

I enjoyed the casino as always but the shows were not what they used to be. Also the food in the dining room is not what it used to be. This was my 3rd Carnival cruise and the previous two were great this one not so much. First if you are going to offer a drink package both people should not have to sign up. My wife drinks one glass of wine a day. Second if you are going to give away free drinks in the casino for so many points and the drinks have to be ordered by a waitress. Then please have enough waitresses on staff so you are not waiting around for an hour to get a drink.

had promised and assured me I would have $120 of credit once onboard my Carnival cruise, but when when I checked the account on the first day, I only had $90 and Guest Services could not confirm/adjust the credit on my account and that it would be an issue I had to resolve with after disembarkation.

Also, on my last night at the Golden Olympian Dining Restaurant, I ordered a glass of wine which they charged with no problem, but when I tried to order an item off the Specialty Dining menu (I was willing to pay the extra $20) I was denied and told I would have to check with Guest Services. Later in the evening, after spending 45 minutes in line for Guest Services, the attendant explained that they could not charge my credit card until they were back in US waters (even though I had my card cleared for travel ahead of time with my bank.) and had approved Carnival to use said credit card for any charges to my stateroom (as they were supposed to). This was my boyfriend's very first cruise and it did not leave a good impression on him.

I really enjoyed the comedian, Mr. Little. The stateroom was definitely worth the extra money to get a balcony!!!! The rough waters on the last night was so exciting and awesome, it was the first time I actually felt the boat move and I loved it!!!

we had a really hard time getting service at the bars, let alone waited on if we weren't directly sitting at a bar. The crew directly involved with our services, like the steward, waiter and spa personnel, were top rate!!!! The other crew, we found, were not very pleasant or helpful. The food was just so-so. 

Best part of the cruise was the good quality and variety of the food in the buffets, the dining room and the individual service areas for pizza, deli etc.   the shows were ok, although electrical issues caused 20 min delay on one show.  The customer service through guest services was sub standard.  When battery died in the door key lock to our room,we stood outside our room for an hour waiting and dealing with several different people to get inside and for the battery to be replaced, as a result missed check in for our flight next day, and missed an activity we had planned to attend.  Internet was terrible, paid the 16.00 for 24 hours and it did NOT work to any quality for more than 5 or 10 min then cut out.  Disembarkation took 2 hours, it was not well managed, and each time we tried to reach out to guest services, there was 10-20 people in line with only 2 staff working.

My favorite parts were: ship's decor was a definite"wow"! Blue Iguana, Guy's Hamburgers, 24 hour a day pizza at aft part of ship, soft serve ice cream were wonderful. The entertainment at the shows was fantastic. The beautiful black girl who sang was wonderful! She should be on TV or make CD's. Can't believe a talent scout hasn't snatched her up! The comedy club acts were perfection! I believe Carnival has the best entertainment of any cruise line. I was , however, disappointed in the buffet and dining room food. I give these a 3 star rating. I thought it tasted like Golden Corral food. I did pay extra for the filet mignonette and lobster which was excellent. Service and Room Service was good. I would definitely sail on The Liberty again.
