First cruise out of the dry dock and for the Alaskan cruise season. The ship is great - a little smaller than what I've sailed on previously, but I think I like it better. The food is fantastic, there are activities for every age throughout the day. Never a dull moment. There are still signs of wear and tear, but that's expected on a ship this old. The dry dock isn't gonna make it a brand new boat. Overall, fantastic ship, fantastic crew and I am so excited to finish out the week!

Enjoyed everything about the cruise. Was our first and definitely we will be cruising more. I really enjoyed the variety and quality of entertainment options. All aspects of room was excellent but one issue I had with balcony was balcony windows on the deck were not cleaned and salt build up made it impossible to see through when sitting down. Not a big thing but trying to give an honest review as it was a suite and I expected more attention to these details. Food was great and the cooking and prep was excellent but I also found virtually all premium cuts of beef were an added cost at significant retail bump in cost at main restaurant.

1-Ship is in rough shape. ie, rust, rips, stains, wallpaper peeling. The biggest of which was the retractable roof over the pool would not close. There was 3 pools we could not use because of high winds and cold weather for 5 days. 2-Food was not that great, bland and repetitive. 3-Great crew, great entertainment, lots of activities, staff is excellent. 4- The price was reasonable for the amount of ports we visited. Although there was only time for 1 excursion at each port, as the excursion times overlapped.

Hay cruise 🚢 buddies just arrived home 🏠 today from an awesome 😎 cruise Sydney to Honolulu on the Legend ... Awesome food 🥘 Awesome staff .. was the best ports , Could not stop at fiji as they had a cyclone and bad weather... So the captain 👩‍✈️ made quick arrangements and we went into Tonga 🇹🇴 the first time the ship 🚢 had stopped there and was awesome 😎..Well done captain my hubby and i enjoyed the excellent service .. from all .. And for those people who say they would not do Carnival party ship 🚢 blah blah ... well move on your missing it was anything but .. What a awesome 18 night cruise and 6 days in waikiki 🌺

we love Carnival, not so much for the ships as I think there are newer and fancier ships available, however the crew are the best in the industry and on all our cruises the Captains (Giuseppe Gazzano and Franceso La Fauci) are the most generous and amazing leaders and hosts. For that reason alone we wouldn't take a cruise with any other cruise line.

ship was dated but the staff made the time go fast, and did their best with activities. entertainment was good especially the comedy club

Overall was a great cruise very relaxing had a fantastic time.

The cruise was an excellent experience and would go on one again.

We really enjoyed it. So much food to eat. My son enjoyed kids club. The comedy shows were great!

Loved this experience and would recommend to others to do. It was awesome that although one of our ports were cancelled due to weather conditions, Carnival made the effort to get us to another Port this was Tonga and it was amazing.

What a fabulous cruise!!!!!!,mystery island is still a mystery due to the tail end of a cyclone, next time we will get there absolutely no fault of carnival they tried to get the tenders out but too dangerous for the passengers . Lifou is gorgeous ,snorkeling is a must.Vanuatu great shopping, visit the blue pools wow, New Caledonia is interesting but a swim at lemon tree bay was stunning, spent hours there and visited the morning markets. The staff are over and above all expectations, the food is very plentiful and delicious. The comfort and cleanliness was fabulous, we were surprised how for so many people on board you don't feel crowded at any time.the shows and music was great every day. this cruise is highly recommended

Overall the cruise was great, Carnival Legend ship is a bit outdated in its decor and needs to be updated. Entertainment staff and cruise director were excellent. The Captain was very good he kept us updated daily. There needs to be more food options for patrons on board ..Also washing facilities need to be increased as there werent enough for the amount of guests on board. The free cocktail nights were awesome and a lot of people enjoyed these. I commend the captain and staff for organizing Tonga in such short notice due to not being able to dock in Port Denarau due to bad weather . Overall we had a great time and a cruise is what you make of it yourself most of the time.

Arrived back today :-(after another amazing Christmas cruise :-)on the carnival Legend ...My hubby and i had a great time 🍹we would totally recommend this cruise on the carnival Legend ports to the pacific islands 🌴 amazing meet some lovely people all there to have an amazing Christmas... Food ,Staff went above and beyond and was ...amazing ship was spotless. Loved everything 💕💕💕💕💕💕

I'd previously been on the Carnival Legend twice and the Spirit once and wanted to introduce my cruising parents to Carnival. A Christmas cruise was the ideal way. Embarkation: Was excellent, we’d arranged an airport transfer and once I arrived at the port I breezed through in less than 15 minutes! Ship information: When you first step on board the Carnival Legend you are overwhelmed by the glitzy interior (think old style Vegas with a carnivally style twist). The interior is a little dated but with a sense of humour in hand you soon get used to it. We loved the outdoor Serinity area (adults only) at the rear of the ship and spent a lot of time there. This area is modern with very comfortable seating and relaxing music. Cabin: I chose an interior cabin with a French door, as I’d stayed in one previously. These rooms are very spacious and great value for money. The French door is floor to ceiling and you can open it a little to let some fresh air into your cabin. Service: The crew are amazing on this ship and generally seem very happy. Our cabin steward (Ronaldo) was fabulous as was the Cruise Director; Jen. We often had the same wait staff at dinner (even though we chose the anytime dining option) and the head waiter; Sanit was so good that we asked to sit in his dining section each night. Dining: The food on Carnival Legend has to be some of the best I’ve experienced on cruise ships. The buffet has a great selection of hot dishes (not luke-warm like on some other ships I’ve been on) and beautiful fresh salads and fruit. I think the head chef needs to be commended. The food in the main dining room is also outstanding. We chose the anytime dining option and sometimes the wait times were a little long. If there’s a long wait they will give you a buzzer so you can head to a bar and wait to be buzzed. Entertainment: I found the entertainment on this cruise not to be to my taste. The singers often sang out of key and at a high volume. One of the production shows (70’s inspired) was of a fairly poor quality, the other (Epic Rock) was quite good. We didn’t get to any of the Comedy shows on this cruise. One small negative was the scheduling of movie screenings on the ship. Children’s movies were scheduled during the day however movies appealing to adults were shown at 10:30pm (a little late I thought). Disembarkation: We had arranged an airport transfer and disembarkation was very smooth. Summary I love Carnival and would recommend a Christmas cruise as a great way to travel with family members and avoid some of the stresses of Christmas (no cooking, cleaning, driving etc).

The P&O Fairstar gave my wife and I a bad cruise experience so 25 years later we tried it again on the Legend and enjoyed it. The crew are second to none always friendly and willing to help. The cabins are nice but the pillows are not good (to lumpy , the 80s night was a let down (big build up for not much) should have used a DJ not a band that didn't sing the songs right. But overall the food and entertainment and the whole ship was great. Looking forward to my 3rd cruise.

Twice sailed once to the Pacific for 10 nights in January 2017 and then again to Tasmania in November 2018. Both were amazing. Food was sensational, the buffets amazing and the dining room absolutely devine. A little extra for the steak house but well worth it. Will travel on her again. I highly reccomend the chefs table and behind the fun. Staterooms were better than expected. With my wife and I and two kids it was just the right size. The balcony was a fantastic place to just sit and relax. The shows were "oh my god" quality. Real entertainers that knew how to hook a crowd. I enjoyed them all and thank you to Jen our cruise director and of course our Captain. Real friendly, family orientated and so much to do for all ages. The Legend is missed Down Under when it is in Alaska. Thank you to Carnival and the reason I love to cruise.

Loved the legend it was a fabulous ship eith fantastic staff. Wonderful food heaps of activities to do. Rooms were spacious and very welcoming and clean

Did Hawaii to Vancouver May 2016 and had a ball. Great staff. thoroughly enjoyed everything on the ship. Doing 8 nights in October 2017 to the islands and cant wait to get back aboard. Food eas great. Especially the Asian with daily variety. entertainment was first class.

Was on the legend a month ago and I’m still in ore of my experience ... I’ve already booked another carnival cruise for the 6th of March on the spirit this time ... so excited... 🛳⚓️ 😍

Carnival Legend was a great cruise I went with my family and we had a ball the staff was friendly and the people onboard said sorry if they knocked you over best cruise for the younger ones
