This was a great ship with great lounges, and shows. Food was very good. Supper Club was great

The Legend has been extremely well kept - it's in better shape than some brand new ships we've been on. The staff and officers were very friendly.

Very good value, clear sailing, excellent king size beds, cabin service very clean and prompt...I over tipped. Embarking a bit slow but made up for it on leaving the ship. Also, too much needless walking to embark...the path can be shortened...too little handicap assist.

this was an 8 day cruise on the legend out of ft. lauderdale to panama,costa rica,and belize. they had some trouble and took us to rotan,hondurus instead of costa rica wich was ok. it was great! went snorkling in rotan and took the canopy tour in belize zip line over the trees. fun-fun-fun. and the four days at sea laying around getting waited on. come on who would anybody say lets go home. if your thinking abuot going on this one. go

The Legend is a nice size ship, not to large to get lost on nor to small to feel confined. The pool area is nice and on the lido deck there is an adult only area, which is nice.

This review is aimed at first timers ! DO NOT PACK TOO MUCH. The two formal nights were great but the other nights you only need normal resort clothes. Remember beach bag, sarong etc.for all the days, the ship is a resort . Prepare your sea days. The ship trips are good but expensive, you can get a local taxi and be clear where you'd like to go. Use the spa it is very well fitted out clean and serine, not many people use it. If you like the sun... On the exotic southern route get an odd cabin then only two homebound sea days in the shade on the balcony. Go for the best room that you can afford . The suite with full size jacuzzi bath, dressing area etc. made the difference for us. The ship is busy you need some private space.

A group of 4 girls recently sailed on the Legend, we were impressed with the overall cleaniess of the boat, the effectiveness of the staff, the meals were great (we never did try the specialty resturant) breakfast buffet on Lido deck was awesome, had a facial, was great (wait till the end, mark downs :)) a friend did do the massage and exfoilating and she enjoyed that very much as well! The shows were great, all of them!!! really enjoyed the frank show, and the talent show at the end was so much fun!!!!!

The staff and crew were very friendly and helpful. Very promte in attending to needs.

we went on the carnival legend, the ship wasnice but i've travelled on royal caribbean and there is no comparison.The decor on the legend was old looking, and a little run down.the room was basic nothing special and travelling with an infant with the crib in the room and a couch that you can't use makes it very crowed.

The ship was beautiful.

The Ship was clean and neat, the deck staff was great, the cabin staff was very good. Club Carnival was great. Dining staff was just OK.

This was our first cruise of any significant length and we found that there were plenty of activities to satisfy all ages in our group. The shows were very nice and all of our dining experiences were wonderful. It was definitely a relaxing vacation.

Upkeep and cleanliness in spa area was severely lacking, i.e. no soap in soap dispensers in shower stalls (the whole 8 day cuise), dirty floors,"DIRTY" water in the spa jaccuzzi (it was not changed untill I complained to the staff ,(ON THE 8th day of a 9 day cruise)

It was very clean and kept up in all areas. The smoking areas could have been in more discreet places so nonsmokers would not have to walk thru but overall it was great.

Of the 10 plus ships I have cruised on this was the most pleasurable and enjoyable yet

We sailed on the Carnival Legend for Christmas and it was wonderful. The ship was shiny and sparkly and well decorated for the holidays. We were greeted with wine and smiles as we boarded. Our cabin had a balcony that was just right for us, we could either sunbathe or eat breakfast there, we really enjoyed watching the ocean go by on the lounge chairs. The staff was wonderful as always, whenever we had a problem they were quick to correct it and ensure that everything was smooth for us. We took our grown daughters (21 and 28) with us and they had as much or more fun than we did. There were plenty of activities for all of us and we were as busy or laid back as we wanted to be.

Fun vacation that we never will forget. We will crusie again, perhaps the same time next year. The issue of smoking inside needs to be resolved. I have not been exposed to that much second hand smoke in years. Our college aged children didn't seem to mind it as much as we did because as they say, "We deal with it in bars all the time." Also, the very last experience - exiting the ship - needs improvement. Those who wished to hand carry their luggage off were told to gather on the second deck at 7:30 AM. There was no order to the lines and some passengers got aggressive if they thought someone did not move to the "back of the line." Problem was, there did not seem to be an obvious "back of the line" as people got off elevbators, came up stairways and simply waited for the people ahead of them to move. No one from the ship was around to try to bring order to the process. And the actual debarkation was delayed almost an hour until 8:30 AM. There was very little communication regarding the holdup and people were getting testy. I actually thought a fight might break out. That's how angry some passengers got.

The ship was very clean and in good condition. I enjoyed the time we spent just relaxing and the ports of call.
