Overall the 7-night cruise on the Carnival Legend was entertaining and relaxing with good food and entertainment and good ports of call. I would recommend this Carnival Legend cruise..
Embarkation
4 out of 5
All in all it was satisfactory--we did wait outside the Terminal 1 1/2 hours before getting inside (and it was chilly outside) but once we got inside we were on the ship in 20 minutes..)
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We ate mostly in the ships main dining room and occasionally for lunch at the buffet.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Daily activities were limited for our choices-- did attend a couple of seminars in theatre, visited the soa and saw a show every night in the main theatre.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The stage shows were really good although it was the same type of musical performance every night and the other musicians onboard were also good.
Children's Programs
No children
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room steward was very good and the other ship were also very good.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Ship was clean, and decor was good.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our cabin was very nice and spacious with very nice carpet, drapes, and other decor--cabin size was 228 sq. feet and bathroom very nice-- did not feel crowded at all with two in cabin. Our view was between two life boats so we could see through the two French doors quite well.
Ship tip
Unless you are very familiar with using your cell phone to use the Carnival Hub app. , one may find the paperless cruise a little difficult when making your dining reservations at the main restaurant, accessing ship activities and other information that was once available by bulletins delivered to your state room. Also Casino machines are only played using your ship's card with a minimum of $10.00--no more dollar bills! I put in $10 using my ship card and it was gone in four rolls!
Enjoyed Carnival shore excursion here and shopping at the port. The shopping at the well rated Port Lucaya Shopping was a huge disappointment--cheap better shopping at the port.
