Overall - a relaxing experience and something I would love to do again.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
I had two cabins and 5 people. They made us split up for check-in and that was unnecessary. VeriFly had all my guest's info on my phone and I had to run between check in spots to show documentation
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Very good. Yra (head waiter) was the best!
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
We did a little BINGO. Host needs some polish. Lido deck did not have as many activities as other ships - especially at night. Cruise director was a nice guy but also needs to step it up.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Shows were very good. I would love to see them bring back live musicians for shows. Atrium violins need more work... and the one lounge group singing needs to get on pitch.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Yra was the best waiter. Ken Byrnes is the best Matre'd in the fleet. Our room steward was very nice and personable. Never saw the Captain and on other ships he would have a session in the lobby where we could get pic's - if he had it, it was not advertised.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
worked hard to keep it clean. Much improvement over the Pride. I love the Pride but she just seemed "worn out" compared to the Legend.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Everything was clean and comfortable. We really did not stay in cabin a lot.
Ship tip
On the Lido deck, the tables have a two-layer top. There is a joint between the top and a side layer. In that joint or crack they need to clean it better. Run a tine of a fork along the edge and crap comes out.
Nassau was nice but the excursion needs improvement. Attendant was great but stops were at places not equipped to handle a bus-load of people. In prior cruises I remember the excursion stops being at larger facilities. Samples and "rum-tasting" was so small it was really an insult.
Freeport was a nice stop but who in the heck made the decision to leave at 1:00 pm. We should arrive and leave later in the day to better experience this.
