Review summary

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️it. The only thing that I would like to see is the ship not charge so much money (124.00) for a day to use a wheel chair for disable people.

My father even brought his scooter on board. I think he even had to have a doctor's note not sure. The homeland security guy wanted to bring a dog to check out the scooter but never did.lol

some people like me only need it on really "bad" days, or days that involve alot of physical activities or the days after. i for one only currently use wheelchairs on holiday like at airports or theme parks/attractions that require alot of standing or walking so im able to enjoy the day with less pain and keep up with my group easier, so i dont own my own (yet) as most the time there is one available for either free or for a refunadable deposit, so its not worth me going through the cost of buying one and then traveling with it. i think that carnival charging so much for something like this is terrible. (while i get that it deters the people who dont need it taking it it also punishes people for having a disability, and as if we dont already pay extra to make sure our mobility needs are met) i was thinking of seeing if i could hire or borrow one on my bad days onboard but now seeing this price i think i just might just tough it out or tactically find one place to sit and relax all day with minimal walking.

I read some things here and I cannot believe it. I believe YOU bowman, I do not understand how ANY cruise ship could charge that much for a one day 'rental'. I do not need a wheelchair yet, hope I never do. Maybe others can chime in. I am at a loss!

Bring one for free. Most disabled people already have assistive devices that they have chosen and setup for their unique needs. Much better than a genetic wheelchair which can be uncomfortable.

You may want to recheck your charges as I found the on line rental for next week on the Legend to be $84 and $124 for the full cruise depending on light or heavy chair. I use my own chair. The scooter is not a lot more.
