Still good, but quite a few cut-backs

We cruise every other year, this was our 8th cruise. The ship, food and service were good, no complaints here. However, there have been many cut-backs compared to what Carnival used to offer. No more free drinks at the captain's reception, limited and underwhelming evening entertainment, many activities that used to be free now offered for a charge. The Legend showed many signs of wear and tear and rust, needs some cosmetic updates.

Ship Quality
Quite a bit of wear and tear, rust showing. Needs some cosmetic updates.
Food and Dining
We liked the both the selection and the quality of the food.
Service and Staff
Everybody was really friendly, but service was not as personal as it has been in the past.
Both the types of shows and the quality of the performance were not as good as on other cruises.
Children's Programs Not applicable
Onboard Activities
Many activities that were free now come with a charge or turn out to be a sales pitch.
Destinations and Excursions
Cut backs on the excursions as well. Prices have gone up, many attempts to upsell ($25 for one photo???), no more lunches or free drinks included.
Cabin / Stateroom
We liked our cabin a lot, especially the balcony and the location of the cabin on the ship. Easy and quick access to all parts of the ship. Minor complaint is that the balcony door wouldn't stay open, we had to prop it open with a chair.
Tampa, Florida
Easy to find parking and get on and off the boat.
Cozumel, Mexico
Tulum is unique, as long as you can deal with the heat.
Belize City, Belize
Visit the ruins of Altun-Ha in combination with the river Wallace. Great way to experience the best of Belize.
Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Beautiful place, especially enjoyed the glass bottom boat trip.
George Town, Grand Cayman
Stingray City is a unique experience. Skip Hell and the Cameo factory.
