We cruise every other year, this was our 8th cruise. The ship, food and service were good, no complaints here. However, there have been many cut-backs compared to what Carnival used to offer. No more free drinks at the captain's reception, limited and underwhelming evening entertainment, many activities that used to be free now offered for a charge. The Legend showed many signs of wear and tear and rust, needs some cosmetic updates.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We liked the both the selection and the quality of the food.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Many activities that were free now come with a charge or turn out to be a sales pitch.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Both the types of shows and the quality of the performance were not as good as on other cruises.

Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Everybody was really friendly, but service was not as personal as it has been in the past.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Quite a bit of wear and tear, rust showing. Needs some cosmetic updates.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We liked our cabin a lot, especially the balcony and the location of the cabin on the ship. Easy and quick access to all parts of the ship. Minor complaint is that the balcony door wouldn't stay open, we had to prop it open with a chair.
