I was pleased with the ship. It was clean and well maintained. The Greek decor was cheesy though.
I would recommend that the ship consider having designated areas for people that are handicapped or are over the age of 70 that would give them easier access. Watching many of them fight their way to the food areas was disappointing.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The quality and quantity of food choices was excellent. Some of the choices were bland or over cooked but overall the food exceeded my expectations. My wife and I ate at the Unicorn Cafe and The Golden Fleece and were pleased with the choices. We did not eat at Truffles.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We enjoyed the comedy show, the casino, yoga, and the gym. The only complaint we had was the ship time constantly changed and it made the special program times at the gym confusing. Please consider uping the odds for Craps to 5x or 10x. 2x odds is awful.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room attendants were excellent and very friendly. They cleaned our room 1-2 times a day and were quick when doing so. Collin was excellent.
The entire wait staff at the Golden Fleece was great. Mariya (Croatia), Anastaysa (Serbia?), and Gonya were excellent. The cooks also prepared excellent vegan dishes for my wife.
For those who can, tip above and beyond the 15% when you can. Your level of service will exceed the norm. Many of the staff makes $50-70 a day and most people do not tip over the 15%.
Ship Quality

Some of the pathways in the dining room should be improved. If you are going to cater to 70 + year olds on scooters and 300 pound guests, make the walk ways wider.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The size was expected. We had a enough room to move around in the room without it being to congested. The bed was comfortable. The balcony was well worth the extra $$$. Having a refrigerator was a must.
Carnival cancelled our excursion late the night before and we were not able to book another one. We tried to walk around outside the gates but were quickly horded by people trying to get us to jump in their cab, to by fake gold, drugs, etc. We walked a block and turned around and went back to the gated area.
The best snorkeling and scuba of any of the ports. Take advantage of the Jolly Roger excursion. The group is very friendly and do their best to make it fun. The reef is one of the best I have scene.
This is a good, safe port. We went snorkelling at the sunken ship and the second site was a coral reef. It was nice. The ship has only be an artificial reef for 10 months so there wasn't much activity. There was also 2 other cattle boats there at the same time.
Be aware that this is a expensive port. 4 beers and one shot cost us $45.
Don't Miss: Hammerhead Bar. It is 200-300 yards from the tender drop off. Try there coconut Rum.
Pros: The steak house, the comedy shows, the convenience of not having to worry about checking into a hotel, the Steak house staff, most of the bartenders and our room/floor manager Collin, the food quality
Cons: Rude people, most of the people were much older (50 +), people belching/farting at dinner, letting an overweight 70 year old snorkeler (he got hurt), had an excursion cancelled and was not notified,
