A: Male here and I’m on the legend and the gym is pretty legit. I agree there are some cardio machines with out of order signs on them but I have not had any issues getting a machine or getting in my weight workouts. The showers are awesome, the steam r... oom was good, and the sauna was not good, and the locker room is nice. All in all, I’d say you can cobble out a decent workout without any major obstacles in your way.See More

Q: Has anyone used VeriFly for Carnival or anything else? I took a RC cruise recently and the passengers with printed paper records went faster than those trying to bring up data on phones. I really don't want to play around with another app unless necessary.

A: Ease of use will vary with how good the signal strength is in the terminal and the training / familiarity with your device of the various personnel you must pass through using it.
Answered by maryred on May 2, 2022
A: I had both and the printed paper copy was easier and faster.

A: RCCL isn't using VeriFly, or at least, wasn't in March at Baltimore. I always have paper copies of everything I need, always. For exactly the reasons you just stated. I just recently started taking photos of what is acceptable that way.

A: We used it and flew through check in. We found it to be excellent. Thanks

A: We used VeriFLY on our 4/10 cruise. It saved time and made check in easy. You still should bring copies of your test and you will need your boarding pass. It is worth downloading the app and very user friendly

A: If it was just refreshing before it came to Bmore they did a bad job. I just got off her and there were some significant repairs (holes that rusted through on my balcony, for example) that were not completed. I love going out to that port because of... proximity to my home but I miss the Pride.See More

A: We cruised December 5th-12th only one movie was shown in the lounge. The lounges weren’t being used during the day and at least one movie a day should be shown.
Answered by sylvest on February 20, 2022
A: Unfortunately I don't think this boat offers that service. I didn't see any "movies under the stars" while we spent a week on board.

A: No direct experience yet, but will be on the Legend in 2 weeks. If I remember about this post I'll update. Have heard they show movies in comedy club and main theater as a matinee when not being used for a seminar, gathering, show, or rehearsals.

Q: What are the differences between a Journeys cruise and a transatlantic repositioning cruise ?

A: A Journey cruise the ship brings you back where you started and these sailings go to unique destinations; that or offer different shore excursions that aren’t listed on a non-journey cruise. A TPC is longer than an JC and they don’t bring you back wh... ere you started. A TPC happens when that ship is traveling to their new home. Ex: Carnival Pride used to depart from port Baltimore but, now has a new home somewhere else. So she recently went on a TPC.See More

A: It's basically a way to buy a higher VIFP status and you get some of the perks as if you were diamond or platinum for a one time charge per cabin. Its been stopped since covid but will eventually return.
Answered by JLGreen81 on May 17, 2022
A: Though I must add Carnival isn’t offering that at this time because, of Covid restrictions. But that was last year so maybe it has changed.
Answered by jazzybanks on May 16, 2022
A: The name itself is pretty self explanatory. It means you board the ship faster, your room is ready when you board, if you have shore excursions you get to them faster and also get to get off the ship quicker when your cruise is over.
