The Jubilee is a great ship and I’m so thrilled we have her in Texas! Carnival did good!

To my pleasant surprise, it went smoothly and fast. No issues.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
I love Carnival, but one of my complaints has always been about the food being mediocre, but, this time on the Jubilee, the food (especially in the main dining room) was much better! I still don’t care so much for the Italian place, but overall, the food was pretty good and that includes our last Carnival cruise on the Mardi Gras.

So much to do!
Entertainment

I LOVE the production shows! Soulbound and Celestial Strings were my favorites. Must-do’s!
Service and Staff

The cruise director (Kendall Fire) and fun squad were great (but Lee is still my family’s favorite). We also felt like the fun squad on the Mardi Gras were better, but that’s just us!
Ship Quality

This may be my only complaint and it’s a really insignificant one… they removed the green leaves off of the lido deck palm trees and they looked really ugly. They reminded me of those scary trees in the movie Planet of the Apes lol. I asked what happened and I was told they had to remove them due to being a safety hazard in the wind. Not a big deal, but it did look ugly! I hope it’s only temporary.
Cabin / Stateroom

Room number 16242 - on the lido deck. Best place to be! We had a balcony cabin. The bathroom was tiny. There were lots of “fluffy” people on board and I admit I wondered how they would fit in those tiny showers.
Typical Caribbean cruise port. My husband and I stayed on the ship for this one, but the others in our group got off and said the port was ok. To be honest, we cruised to experience the ship this cruise.
I’m not crazy about Costa Maya. We’ve been there before and it’s not that nice so this time we enjoyed the ship while most everyone else left and so glad we did!
