It was fun, but we will look for a different cruise line other than carnival next time as our hallway and bathroom smelled like sewer.

We enjoyed the cruise while outside of our room, and we didn’t spend much time in our room due to the smell. We will most likely go on another cruise, just not carnival.

I wouldn't completely give up on Carnival yet, especially if you enjoyed the food and activities. Maybe try one of the newer ships.

You should have asked to have your room changed. They were probably all filled though. We were just on the Carnival Conquest in March and it was fantastic. No smells anywhere that we could tell. Our cabin was perfect. The dinners and breakfasts in the MDR were absolutely delicious. Didn’t care for the shows but that’s not why we cruise. Our ports were wonderful. Cruising is the best vacation ever 🛳 🏖
