This was the Horizon's inaugural cruise, in April 2018. We loved everything about the ship and all the staff were so friendly. It was our first experience with Carnival and we were very impressed. I would highly recommend this ship.

Embarkation was very efficient. When we arrived at the terminal, there was very little waiting. We got on the ship quickly and as it was the ship's first cruise, our cabins were available straight away.

Food and Dining

There were loads of great eating options. The main dining room and buffet both had good options and good food. The steakhouse was excellent, the Pig & Anchor smokehouse was great and Guy's burgers were fantastic!
Onboard Activities

There were loads of fun things to do! We enjoyed the skyride, ropes course, water-slides, mini golf, outdoor gym, Carnival multiplex and all the other greats facilities the ship offers!
Entertainment

There was lots of entertainment that we enjoyed. DJ Jazze and all the fun squad were great, Mike Pack was the best cruise director we have had! We really enjoyed Buck & Oz, the country music duet in the Pig & Anchor smokehouse and Crushed Velvet in the Ocean Plaza.
Service and Staff

All the staff were super friendly and did a great job. Special mention must go to Lisa (fun squad), Agus (stateroom steward) and Marina and Aldo (aquatic attendants) - these crew members went the extra mile and made our cruise even better!
Ship Quality

We loved the design of the ship. It was easy to get around and never felt too crowded. As you would expect, everything was in fantastic condition as the ship was brand new!
Cabin / Stateroom

This was a very well appointed, clean cabin. It was comfortable and there was ample space for 3 of us.
