Review summary

We made our reservations when the booking dates came out. We looked forward to this cruise for almost a year and a half and were not disappointed. Barcelona is an amazing city for a Port. The Horizon is beautiful and the staff the best! We had a couple beautiful days at sea as well as some amazing ports.

Ship tip

We loved the room except during the evening from 10:00pm to midnight. The pounding from the band in the Havana Bar below us was annoying. The noise also came from the air vent in the bathroom.

Beware of excursions that include “ factory visits”. They are stores with a videotape. I was very annoyed we had to do two before we could see Pompeii.
