We did parasailing that we booked ourselves through Key West Parasailing. We were on a boat with Dalton and Capitan Cole. They were so accommodating. We had the best time. It truly is like floating in the air. Then we just hopped on the free bus and went around town. We ate at Two Friends restaurant and it was really good. I recommend getting just their shrimp. I could have eaten a whole plate.
We rented a Jeep, by ourselves and cruised down the shore. Found a fantastic beach. and went to Paradise Cove Beach. This place was fantastic to snorkel and get drinks. We had a great time there and then went on down to West End and picked up some free Conchs. Then we went to The Bahamian Brewery. We bought some spirits there, then off to around Xanadu Beach. This one was a little rough and slippery. We went back to the port and got some fresh fried conch before getting on the ship.
We took a cab ride with Bahamah John. We went to Warwick Paradise Island Hotel for the day. It was fun. They had fishing, snorkeling, pool and drinks. They mix the drinks strong. My husband had fun fishing and caught several fish. I snorkeled and we all drank. They had a buffet that was pretty good. Bahama John came back to pick us up and took us over to a beautiful beach across from the hotel. It was Cabbage Beach. I highly recommend going to the beach. It was picture perfect. I wish we had went there for the day. He took us on a tour around town before taking us back to the pier. He picked up his grandson from daycare, and he was the most precious kid.
