Review summary

I’m in no hurry to go on another cruise. This was a week of standing in lines and bumping elbows with people. The food wasn’t any good and the entertainment was scarce. The kids had fun at camp and on water slides but other than that there isn’t much they are allowed to do. Save your money on the room and go on more excursions.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
They pack you in a room to then pack you on the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Main dining and buffet all have odd food that once you are home, you realize it wasn’t even like real food.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Water slides were fun. Sauna and steam room were nice. All other outdoor activities were too windy or raining.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
We enjoyed the comedians. The stage performers dance well but lack on the vocals.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
The kids loved camp ocean and the staff.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Everyone was nice. We didn’t see our room steward until day 3. Guys burger staff were rude.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Everything was clean and people constantly cleaning. The layout is hard to navigate. They should really name the different elevator shafts or color them differently so you know where you are without having to look at a tiny map on the wall.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabins are comfy size and the beds and pillows were very comfortable.

Ship tip

All the cabins are relatively the same. Book a lower cheaper cabin to be able to go on more excursions.

Ports of call

Key West, Florida

3 out of 5

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

4 out of 5

Nassau, Bahamas

2 out of 5
Too many people asking for you to go on excursions or buy stuff.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and easier than getting on.

Sorry you weren’t satisfied. Cruising is a mindset , not for everyone

Sounds like cruising just isn’t for you and your family as a vacation option. Sorry it was not fun for you. Most of us on here love it, but isn’t for everyone.

Well, cabins are not all the same. But, having said that, I guess cruising is not for you. Seems like people either love it or hate it, sorry it was not a good experience for you and your family. Luckily there are other options.

I'm assuming this was your first cruise and sounds like it's not for you, since you don't care for lines or crowds. maybe try a newer ship next time and definitely don't go during spring break, you'll see a difference. I won't sail late February until may 1st due to spring break season

I agree on the cheaper rooms. It gives us more spending money for everything else. Thanks for sharing
