Review summary

We had a great time with my parents on this cruise. We had never cruised at Christmas and the ship was beautiful. Having only cruised before over Spring Break, Graduation, and the 4th of July, I found this cruise to be more chill, more people having family time, playing games etc. Loved all the Christmas pj’s. We had a great time.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We had 12:30 port arrival. Parked at the port and walked right on. I would say whole process was 30 min or less.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We ate very little at the buffet. Breakfast/brunch and dinner every meal in the MDR which was great. We love eating foods we don’t typically take time at home to make. Guys, the deli and the pizza place were our go to places for lunch. We did not go hungry.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Didn’t really do many activities, but the pools and hot tubs seemed to have plenty of activity :)

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We did some form of entertainment viewing every night. It was all entertaining.

Children's Programs

No children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service as always was outstanding! Juan our cabin steward was great, he gave great advice for where to go at ports since we didn’t have excursions booked. He even loaned me a book to read since I read everything I brought. Randolph, Gil and Siriat were the best at anytime dining in the MDR. We requested their station all but 2 nights. Employees were constantly cleaning. I wish I could give 10 stars ⭐️ ❤️

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The Glory is super easy to navigate. Everything was very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Typical balcony room, perfect!

Ship tip

This is a great ship with lots of places in common areas to sit and people watch!

Ports of call

Bimini, Bahamas Did not visit port

We did not get to port here due to weather.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

4 out of 5
We took a taxi to a market, which due to government regulations was only about 1/3 open. From there we walked to free beach access by the police station. We walked along the beautiful beach past massive resorts that were closed, also due to government regulations , so we were told. It was very sad. We saw only 6 other people. At the end of the island it appeared that 1-2 resorts were open.

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
We just shopped in town and at the Straw Market. We ate conch and sat by the water. It was a nice relaxing day.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Walked off about 8:00

To those who commented on Key West - yes Key West was pulled from the itinerary and replaced with Bimini, then Bimini was canceled so we did not port there and no alternate. Excursion in Freeport was canceled, so overall very limited options to do anything.

We booked this cruise kinda last minute and Bimini was already listed as the port. I have heard that originally it was Key West, but I’m not for sure on that.

Did they replace Key West with Bimini? We’re scheduled for April and I’m thinking they will replace KW with Bimini
