Review summary

The cruise was very relaxed. There wasn't long lines for anything which is very different than the last time we were on the cruise. Embarkation & debarkation were so smooth, great job to carnival on this! Main dining room food was great, lido buffet not so much. Plenty of entertainment on the ship. Casino was decent size and was busy most days. Interior room was nice and worked for us. Most people on the ship were friendly and acted like they were glad to be there. Would definitely sail the Glory again.

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The main dining room food was amazing. We enjoyed dining 5 if the 7 nights we were on the ship. Our favorites were the lobster, prime rib, mac n cheese with bacon, shrimp cocktail, country chicken soup, & chocolate cake. Guy's burgers were good as always. The pizza pirate was also good. Sea day brunch was good, but I prefer the older menu. The lido buffet was just ok.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was an interior on 8 forward. Plenty of room for the 2 of us & lots of storage space. The shower water was almost too hot, even when turned to coolest setting. Water pressure was great though. I do wish I would have brought an air freshener for the bathroom. It had a sewer smell a lot of the time.

Ship tip

Have fun, relax, and don't let other people do with their vacation bother you!

Ports of call

George Town, Grand Cayman

We went to Royal Palms day resort. This is our favourite port and favorite place to have a beach day. Royal Palms is a $5 taxi ride per person right outside of the port. Takes about 10 minutes to get there. They charge $2 per person to get in. You can then purchase food and drinks.
