This was the first time out of the five cruises that we did not have to wait in extremely long lines. I believe the whole process from parking to boarding the ship was less than 30 minutes.

Food and Dining

We only dined two days but over all it was ok with the exception of one incident. I absolutely loved the crab legs and shrimp from the Seafood Shack and the buffet experience was ok as well. I ate more fruits than deserts this cruise, so proud of myself. The food was pretty good.
Onboard Activities

I didn't do much as I'd planned to do but from what I saw of others, they were enjoying the activities. We frequented the casino and sports bar more this cruise.
Entertainment

I enjoyed all the music and performers. I'd planned to go to the night club but I guess I just couldn't stay woke long enough...lol.
Service and Staff

I had an of issues on this cruise with being charged for something that should have been complimentary and if it was not supposed to be, I feel we should have been informed in advance. The dining experience was not the best this time as well. I felt the waiter for our table had a bad attitude. Needless to say, we only dined twice.
Ship Quality

The layout wasn't what I was used to but I have no complaints. The ship was very clean and maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin had plenty of space for all of our belongings and it was clean.
I enjoyed Freeport. Loved that we were on port side and could just sit on the balcony and enjoy the scenery. We enjoyed the shopping. The only issue I had there was that one of the shops had advertisements outside for the T-shirts being one price and when we went into the shop, the only shirts for the advertised price was the white ones.
This experience was wonderful. We carried our own luggage down and in the past this has been a nightmare. This time we were downstairs, through customs and out the garage within 20 minutes. I don't know what has changed with embarkation and disembarkation since my last Carnival Cruise but I definitely hope it stays the same.
Nice that you had another option for dining. For future reference, if you have a problem with your waiter, ask the Maitre ‘D to change. A simple explanation can be that your personalities don’t mesh. Sorry you had that situation.
