Good value for our money. Good entertainment and nice variety of activities. Enjoyable Western Caribbean cruise but actually like Eastern Caribbean cruise (ports) better.

Smooth embarkation. Had all paperwork completed and proper documentation available which helped make boarding easy. Staff was very proficient and pleasant.

Dining rooms were well maintained, clean and specious. Kudos to Sabby our dining room server (Golden Restaurant)! He was very attentive and has a great personality. Remembered our names and also remembered what we liked to drink. Kept the drinks and coffee coming! Quality and selection of food was good considering feeding almost 3,000 people daily. Would also like to mention Marta (from Poland) in buffet area who showed us a new card game. She was adorable!

Guy's Burger Joint was excellent. Watched cooks grill fresh burgers and seasoned french fries!

Well equipped fitness center. Enjoyed spa, sauna and adult only pool area. Casino has a wide variety of slot machines but did not pay well.

Enjoyed Swedish massage. Henriett was excellent. Spa area very clean.

Enjoyed Broadway style shows (especially Motown) and comedians. Michael Macy had us in tears we were laughing so hard! Also adult karaoke with Cam in the Blue Bar was great.

Most crew staff was very pleasant. However, customer service personal rarely smiled and seemed in a hurry to move the line along. Representative was unable to answer questions on future bookings (advised desk no longer available). Golden Dining room staff was very pleasant with the exception of the front desk attendant who also rarely smiled.
Ship Quality

Common areas were clean and well maintained. Cabin steward, Dana, kept our cabin fresh and clean... Thanks Dana! Ship's layout was a bit confusing. Even after 7 days I still had a problem finding an easy way to get to dining rooms as I was unable to stay on same floor but had to go up one floor mid ship and down another.
Cabin / Stateroom

Size of stateroom was surprising quite large and well designed. Loved the 2 hanging closets and extra storage space with shelves and dresser drawers. Bed was very comfortable. Dana kept cabin and bathroom nice and clean. Stateroom could use an update as sofa cushions were "broken down" and dingy. Side corner lamp was broken. Also, balcony could use a good cleaning but understandable as ocean elements make windows and railings appear dirty.
Ship tip
Keep the ship's layout map with you to maneuver about ship without getting lost and having to constantly ask someone for help!
Our snorkeling and Stingray City excursion was cancelled due to the weather and ocean conditions. Very disappointing! Visited a few shops at port and had an excellent lunch at a local Italian restaurant. Definitely plan to return to this port again!
Easy disembarkation. Kept our own luggage and paid for transportation to airport through Carnival. No waiting around for our deck to be called. Got to airport in time to grab a bite to eat before catching our flight home. This is the way to go!
