A lot of factors but out of my previous cruises, this one was just Ok. I wasn't in the mood for the rich food. The cruise director was on my last nerve with his "what's going on" nonsense. The music on Lido was meh. The ports were good and Roatan was awesome. It could very well have been that I just wasn't in the mood to cruise if that's even possible.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
As I have endeavored to eat healthier, I find that going on a cruise ship really upsets the balance in my gut. It's not that the food is bad (although Guy's greasy Burgers are terrible IMO), I'm just used to eating plain. It don't mind indulging in tasty meals and trying new things but it's a balance when doing so causes you do stay in your cabin.
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
There were only two sea days for this 7 day cruise. On the first sea day as we are laying out on the Lido deck, they are broadcasting the show from the Amber Palace about all of the ports we will be visiting. If I had wanted to know that information, I would have gone to the session. They played very little music on the lido deck and that sucked to be honest. We ended up going to the serenity deck.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
I only went to the Diane Ford comedy shows a few times and they were great.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
I have found Carnival service and staff to be excellent 95% of the time. I've experienced a few bad apples but those have been few and far between.

Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
This was the first balcony cabin I've had and I won't pay the extra to have this cabin type again. My ocean view cabins are bigger with a full shower stall and I can hear and see the water better.
Ship tip
I don't recall anything super special about the Glory. It was a nice ship, everything in my cabin was fine, the dining room was fun, and the staff was great. Oh, and the ice cream machines worked flawlessly 24 hours a day. :)
You can rent a Funcat for $30 for two people for half an hour. We "drove" it over to the sandbar island and watched/fed the four huge turtles. You can rent all kinds of canoes, paddle boats, etc. Lots to eat and drink there too. I would love to go back again.
Cozumel is always a great time. Pancho's Backyard for lunch and a margarita. Good deals on silver jewelry. The alcohol sales right on the pier are the cheapest around. The water is SOOOOO blue! I love Cozumel.
