Review summary
This was a great cruise, the ship has tons of accommodations and the staff was more than attentive. The entertainment was good and the days were filled with activities, more than you can get to unless you are on a regimented schedule. As with other cruises there was more than enough food to blow your diet, the BBQ restaurant had a very short window for our itinerary, but we were still able to get in on the last at sea day. As the subject states once out of Miami,
the winds were really high, in some cases limiting access to the highest points of the ship but this was not a reflection on the Carnival or AA for that matter. On the days it rained outside activities were moved inside...in some case schedule changes were not even noticeable to us. The ports of call were great, and the ships staff put a lot of focus on making sure you were aware of the time (ship's time) to avoid watching a sail away from the pier. Eric the cruise director was literally everywhere on the ship and interacted with the guest on a regular basis, I saw him walking around the ship almost daily. Overall great time and a great way to spend our Christmas.
Aside from the weather causing the ship to rock a lot it was a wonderful time. This wasn't my first cruise, but probably one of the best thus far.
