Review summary

This was a mediocre cruise with less than adequate food quality.  Carnival always seemed to have the cash register ringing if you wanted quality -- as with the steak restaurant, etc.

We did love our cabin steward who was magnificent.  His awesomeness did not wash away our feelings about the rest of the cruise.

The shows were pretty good considering we were aboard a ship.

Another big disappointment were the Carnival Cruise Lines controlled ports.  In both the Dominican Republic and the Grand Turk you could tell that you did not see the real country only what the cruise line allowed.

We also had our DSLR camera stolen aboard this ship.  Aaarrgghh!

Ship experiences

slow service and the food did not wow us with taste. The ship needs a new pastry chef.

It's not like a ship can get anywhere other than the port... besides, no one makes you stay in the area they dock in. Get a taxi or take an excursion... wow.

ummm... you know you can leave the ports right? grab a taxi outside the port entrance and see what's the countries have to offer next time.

What did security do to handle te camera theft, hey have cameras seems to me they could go knock on the door of the thief and next port boot em off ship that would teach em.
