Review summary
Cabin ref wasn't working the first few days, after that it was only minimally cooling.
Sliding door between the entry way and dressing room was a slider. With the ship rocking as much as it did, this slid open and slammed shut throughout the night. Even the vanity drawers would slide open and actually trap anyone in the bathroom as they blocked the door in the open position. Other than that, the cabin was on par with other cruise ships cabins w/ regard to space and amenities. There was plenty of storage.
Food was mediocre. Not bad, just average at best (and not average for our cruise expectations, but just very average fare) When people cruise, they ought to come home raving about the great food. This in turn makes their friends and relatives interested in trying a cruise. This ships culinary offerings were about on par with a cheap luncheon restaurant that took over an old Pizza Hut in a non-profitable location.
Those things said, the service was excellent from the housekeeping staff and food servers!
Entertainment on three of the seven nights was also very good. Where on earth they came up with back to back "Hasbro" shows though is beyond me. How does that pass for any kind of entertainment at all?
Our ship visited Half Moon Cay, St. Thomas, San Juan and Grand Turk. We had been to all of these many times, and all are wonderful stops.
